Hall H doesn't open for hours, but the story has already begun. As the first rays of sunlight hit the San Diego waterfront, Marvel fans are already in line, trading theories, comparing costumes, and wondering what surprises Anthony and Joe Russo have in store.

1:38 PM, Saturday, July 25 — The Russo Brothers Prep with Interviews 

Behind closed doors, Anthony and Joe Russo are in full Comic-Con mode. Between press interviews, final rehearsals, and last-minute preparations, the duo balances celebration with secrecy. In just a few hours, they'll step onto one of the industry's biggest stages with a presentation years in the making.

5:32 PM — Hall H Begins to Fill

Fans finally took their seats and the atmosphere inside Hall H shifted. This wasn't just another Marvel panel, it was Anthony and Joe Russo's first Comic-Con presentation since announcing they would direct Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars.

Awaiting every attendee was a Doctor Doom mask and matching green cape. Everyone knew they were part of something, but no one knew exactly when the moment would come... or who would ask them to put them on.

"There are only two people in the world with the energy and creativity to pull this off..."

The room erupts before he can even finish the sentence.

Anthony and Joe Russo emerge to a thunderous standing ovation, returning to the Hall H stage.

6:15 PM — "What If We Made the Back Row... the Front Row?" 

Anthony and Joe Russo take a moment to reflect on returning to the MCU before teasing the unprecedented scale of Avengers: Doomsday. Then Anthony smiles.

"What if we made the front row... the back row?"

The crowd looks around, confused.

6:22 PM — Dawn Your Masks!

And finally...Robert Downey Jr. enters from stage left.

The audience erupts as generations of Marvel heroes stand together and RDJ invites Hall H to dawn their masks

6:27 PM — A New Icon

Marvel Studios unveils the official Avengers: Doomsday poster.

Within minutes, it becomes one of Comic-Con's defining images—Doctor Doom looming over a fractured Marvel Universe as the countdown to December officially begins.

6:33 PM — Hall H Goes Dark

The Russos have one more surprise. The lights dim. Phones stay down as Hall H gets an exclusive extended look at a new Avengers: Doomsday trailer unavailable anywhere else.

The trailer opens with Victor Von Doom.
