Before The Bluff reached audiences everywhere, it came home first.

The film’s earliest screenings took place in the Cayman Islands — beginning in Grand Cayman and continuing in Cayman Brac — bringing the story back to the region that helped shape its spirit. Among those in attendance on Grand Cayman were producers Zoë Saldaña and her sisters, Cisely and Mariel Saldaña of Cinestar, longtime champions of stories rooted in identity and place. Their presence reflected not just support for the film, but a shared appreciation for the islands and the community that helped bring this story to life. On the island where the real Bluff lives, home to just over 2,000 residents who can recognize its shorelines and even familiar faces on screen, the screening carried a deeply personal weight. The afternoon wasn’t about premiere spectacle; it was about seeing a place that rarely gets this kind of spotlight reflected back with care and intention. In a community that size, a screening becomes more than an event, it becomes a shared moment of pride.

From there, the journey continued west.

The film arrived in Los Angeles for its World Premiere, where cast and creatives gathered to mark the official launch. The red carpet moment brought the film’s global stage into focus — but the heart of the story still traced back to where it began.
